The research areas are related to additive manufacturing, hydrogen embrittlement susceptibility of steels, friction drilling of aluminum alloys, metallurgical failure analysis of engineering components, welding technology, and microstructure characterization via advanced electron microscopy. Also I concern with writing review articles on solid state welding technologies, additive manufacturing by laser powder bed fusion technique, fatigue of metals and the plastic behavior of polymeric materials. The teaching areas imply giving courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students in mechanical engineering field related to Engineering graphics, Stress analysis, Introduction to materials science and engineering, Metallurgy, Rapid prototyping, Statics and dynamics, Industrial safety, Production techniques, Advanced manufacturing, Strength of materials, and Machine elements design.
