Description of research and teaching:
My research to date focuses mainly on diversity, equality and social justice. On this basis, I have studied Chinese minority education, Finnish inclusive education in Finland, educational attainments and achievements, educational stratification, language policy and language learning. Methodologically, I adopt mixed methods to analyse survey data, ethnographic video-recordings, and interview data.
