Mika Ylianttila (M. Sc, Dr.Sc, eMBA, IEEE Fellow) is full professor at the Centre for Wireless Communications research unit, at the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ITEE), University of Oulu, Finland. He is vice-chair of the Doctoral Education Committee (evaluator of Communications Engineering) and Research Integrity Adviser of the faculty. He is a research team leader of NetSEC (Network security, trust and privacy). He has co-authored more than 200 international peer-reviewed articles. He is IEEE Fellow (class of 2025) for contributions to mobility management and network security. He was associate editor in IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security 2020-2025.
