Description of activity
My research focuses on space climate, i.e., the long-term variability of solar activity and its effects in near-Earth environment. I employ various long-term ground-based geomagnetic datasets and satellite-based solar wind measurements to study especially geomagnetic activity and magnetic storms. I'm interested in the past and future evolution of solar magnetic activity and understanding how that affects the terrestrial environment. To understand these solar effects, I'm developing various statistical models for long-term prediction and reconstruction of geomagnetic activity.
