I am a University Lecturer and Head of the Research Unit of Logopedics at the University of Oulu, Finland. I am working currently on research focusing on the development of speech perception and communication skills in deaf, hard-of-hearing and typically hearing children. I also study topics related to supporting learning among students with learning difficulties, neurodevelopmental difficulties, or mental health challenges. I work part-time as a speech and language therapist in a private practice.
